Your Friendly Neighborhood Accountants

About Us

Our goal is to provide the highest quality of accounting services while building relationships with our clients that are more friendly, relaxed, and personal in tone than one would normally find at a larger firm. We care deeply about our clients’ happiness and well being, and thrive on the opportunity to grow closer with the folks we work with.

In our office you can expect to find only our genuine selves.

Gina Devine, CPA

Founder

I was a Chemistry major as an undergrad, and learned accounting and business while working in the mid-70s in the natural foods cooperative industry in Ohio.  It was a great life changing inspiration to work in a collective that formed a regional distribution center for member cooperatives in a 5-state area.

I started in private practice in 1991. That same year, I began graduate school at the Duke Fuqua School of Business, from where I received my MBA in 1993.  The next hurdle I cleared was passing the CPA exam in 1997.

In addition to being in private practice, during the period from 2003-2015, I was an instructor at the University of Hawaii – Hilo teaching undergraduate accounting and tax courses during Summer and Fall semesters. Aside from the obvious magnificence of being in Hawaii for several months of those years, I learned just how much I love being an educator.

All of this has contributed to what I believe is our greatest advantage: Our clients get not only quality accounting, bookkeeping and tax service, but also education, as well as great stories of real-life situations. For those of our clients who are entrepreneurs, this can be a key to growing the successful businesses that they have created. This is more fun than a CPA ought to be allowed to have!

When not at the office, my husband Dennis and I love going on long hiking trips, and cycling. I am also an avid reader and am working on creative writing skills. And, it almost goes without saying, spending time with our 5 grandchildren is the absolute best!!!

Matt Reinheimer, CPA

Partner

After receiving a B.A. in English Literature, I took a position in student services and administration at a public university. That position enabled me to develop a number of professional financial skills which led me to a fateful conversation with one Gina DeVine. After that day, I was set on my current path and went on to earn a Master’s degree in Accounting in 2017. I have since worked for seven years in the accounting field along with my partner and mentor. I became a Certified Public Accountant in 2022, and now, together our firm provides expert tax advice and related services to individuals and businesses.

Beyond applying my technical expertise, I find great joy in demystifying accounting concepts and making them accessible to clients. I’m energized by the opportunity to translate financial jargon into language that clients can grasp and understand. By bridging the gap between numbers and words, I hope to empower clients to actively participate in their financial affairs and make informed decisions with confidence.

We strive for a compassionate and client-centric approach. We genuinely and deeply care about our clients’ success and always take the time to understand a client’s unique circumstances and goals. By establishing a collaborative working relationship, we ensure that clients feel heard, understood, and supported in crafting the financial narrative that speaks to their goals and objectives.

Outside of the practice, I most love spending time with my wife Tess, daughter Zaria, our two dogs and our two cats. I also quite enjoy weight training, inline skating, video games, relaxing in the shade, and everything related to Manchester City Football Club.
